  2. finbenton By 'the more exciting alternatives' (note the plural), I didn't mean the Focus. Rather, the Mazda3, the Giulietta, even a 1-Series.

  5. If anything, the Ford is the most British. It's made by Ford Europe, which is the result of a fusion (haha, fusion, Ford) between Ford's British and German divisions.
