  1. Nik Brudar Well, I guess some plastic is allowed, for example on the buttons, but some aluminium or wooden trim and a leather-wrapped dash are quite welcome.

  2. Nik Brudar Refinement is a tad better, I agree. As long as you don't get the sports suspension, it's more balanced between comfort and handling (although it's thoroughly boring to drive). And, of course, there's the matter of soft interior plastics, which motoring journalists see as the perfect justification for the massive price of a 'premium' car. Mind you, I hardly ever touch the dash and subsequently don't care what the plastics feel like. They're still plastics; if you want to do it properly, use aluminium.

  3. +Nik Brudar The Superb is much cheaper and much more spacious, not to mention more comfortable and prettier. Plus, it doesn't have the 'tailgating muppet'-image. I honestly don't see why anyone would have an A4 over a Superb.
