  1. Why are people so cross with Doug? He actually liked the car. Heck, this is a tribute to the British motoring industry. The verdict is, that this car is rubbish yet brilliant, which is a very accurate description of the British car industry. Lots of awful cars came out of it, but some were absolutely and undeniably brilliant, no matter how flawed they may be. This is a great example of such a car.
