I have witnessed this video before! I love all 4 species of surviving hyena, the spotted, the brown, the striped and the aardwolf, all formidable, carnivores, all incredible, intelligent animals...they have been maligned and mis-understood through-out modern history, these animals are fantastic species, the media and Disney have done them a massive dis-service, Disney should donate US$5 million to their care, minimum, anually! also Disney, who make a lot of US$ from the use of wild animals, please donate a few million (from your BILLIONS to help the Tasmanian folks trying to find a cure, for the Tasmanian Devil, facial cancer!) please for the Tassie Devils, yes they are actually black, they are sorta recovering, not really 😣 oh my goodness, you guys, who make a dime on another wild species 🤔 help them recover, from extinction...
Edit ~ I asked for the help for the real life Tasmanian devils, because Disney have a character Taz Devil, they use this animal, for their own profits! so help them back! how hard can it be?

~ ahaha they are very good at climbing trees though...some idiot claimed that a spotted hyena cannot jump 2 inches 🤣🤣 I have seen them jump 4 - 5 feet onto the back of Kevin Richardson's ute! (a utility vehicle) these animals, hyenas are incredibly intelligent and fit etc. a hyena has incredible stamina, they can run and run all day, they often cover 20 - 30+ km in one day! The SH is NOT a 'scavenger' either... but a very capable hunter, they catch/kill over 85% of their own food, lions steal from SH FAR more often...the African lion only catches 15 - 20% of it's kill attempts 😞 doesn't matter, they are very good at driving away/stealing from the spotted hyena, it's all nature though, but I dislike the lies... a lion is a wonderful animal BUT there are less African lions than there are spotted hyenas right now! Only about 25,000 African lions left...30,000 SH left 😭 there were 400,000 lions in the '50's. 200,000 in the 70's... but because of the lack of tigers...the Chinese now like to use lion bones/body parts instead 😥 sorry but look it up, (at your own risk, but by not looking doesn't mean it's not happening😞) it is NOT a secret... our poor fellow Earthlings, personally...I am devastated, I LOVE wild animals

@enderis526 ~ no pig species, world over, has ever been considered a "herbivore" they have always been known to be omnivorous, like human beings, meaning they eat everything...hence quite a few religious groups refuse to eat their flesh, many carnivorous animals actually eat wild fruit, honeys, wild vegetation, fish, eggs, insects...and ANYTHING they find, like bears, foxes, wild canids etc.

Andrea Vitanza ~ she was talking about trophy hunting, millions of rich people around the world travel to shoot dead, generally large exotic animals, it costs a lot of money to shoot certain 'rarer' animals. for example, it costs around $50,000 to shoot dead an elephant, $75,000 - $100,000 per rhino...then you get down to hyenas and warthogs, around $500, baboons just $50... there are 100's of different animals on some lists (depending on what animals are available)..imagine writing out your list of different wild animals you want to kill? SMH such a shame 😞 sorry I got off track but poachers don't pay the landholder to kill animals, hence the term poaching, both are despicable

@johngilfillan6145 ~ also on your Wiki page : they are also known to feed on other insects , larvae, eggs, occaisional small mammals, birds...in other words, they will eat anything they can catch, and should be re-claasified as a carnivore, sort of like a Panda bear, which don't exclusively feed on bamboo, but are opportunistic, Pandas have been known to eat deer, eggs, anything it can catch really, much like ALL other bears.. a Panda is omnivorous

@cintronproductions9430 - I have chatted to you before, I swear?, usually my account name is 'tas tiger'...if that, rings a bell? 😊 all good, I was calling YOU "mates" not the wild animals! haha... wild animals are generally not "mates" they eat each other...but so do domestic pets, many, many times
Edit - lols, I meant, a lot of the time, pets have all day, to 'hunt' ie. my neighbours pet rat (much loved) lost an eye and a foot to a very patient pet cat, an all day, stake out, the cat eventually tricked the rat that he was a 'friend' type animal 🤨 shiiit! it nearly worked!

crazy! Arthur doesn't even have a long snout, the absolute give-away for an aardvark character, what a shame that they didn't bring knowledge of aardvarks through his character, a missed opportunity IMO, businesses and Hollywood should donate to wildlife charities of the wild animal that they use to make lots of money from...ie. rhinos, bears, gorillas, tigers.. used for tough tyres and camping goods etc. Hippos, crocodiles, lions, sharks and every single other animal, used for movies... most wildlife is now endangered, a lot of the big animals are, esp. the predators...we either like them and want to share our planet with our fellow Earthlings...or we don't/won't..

@前川次郎-v9e ~ wow! Those re-introduced cranes may not have been the exact crested-crane originally in Japan...I 'get' this stuff mate, some people say 'a rat is a rat' or worse... 'a snake is a snake' that sort of ignorant crap, they wouldn't say that about a human 'made' breed like a dog, a cow or horse breed, or domestic breeds of any kind, 😞 we can all 'see' the difference! (of dog breeds, other pet animals) Wildlife is different though, there are very slight differences between islands or close countries, species...this was proven by Charles Darwin, no? He proved that each species is different, slight difference but enough to make each animal its own 'genus'... that is a terrible shame that there are no more bears or otters in Japan BUT I live in a country with a dreadful mammal extinction record, homo sapiens are like a parasitic species on the planet...it's ALL take, take but what do we give back? 99.99% of NATIVE animals are in tune with their environment! Even insects! The native ANTS in my country toil the soil from underneath, doing a fantastic job for the native plants to be healthy, a human cannot even claim to be as important as an ant, I am ashamed tbh...

@cintronproductions9430 ~ I totally believe you! those warthogs have mighty strength alright! It takes an awful long time for a leopard to kill one, by neck biting/asphyxiation alone! I have seen a lot of videos of warthogs succumbing to a few lions/single leopard, many times they get away too! I have seen a couple of videos where a leopard is trying to kill a warthog and a spotted hyena comes out of nowhere and just starts eating away at the back end 😝 hard to watch, but the leopard just couldn't get the job done, quick enough...hyena gotta eat too, they (spotted hyena/leopard) actually shared the meal! the leopard was snarling/growling, the SH which is a far more 'chill' animal, was just munching away, dodging a couple of claw swipes, lol, there are around 3 differnt videos online, of SH/leopard 'kill' share videos, very awesome

@cintronproductions9430 - shocking l know, but 1000's are killed each year on private game parks/land alone (I'm not talking abour poaching) it costs around $50,000 to shoot dead an elephant, there is a queue... LOTS of people will pay big bucks to shoot dead the African 'big 5' a lion, a rhino ($75-100,000 EACH!) an elephant, a buffalo, a leopard... these 'people' travel the world, paying to shoot giant land animals, grizzly bears, polar bears, moose, crocodiles, giraffe, the huge African antelopes etc. I have seen some modern lists for African animals, starting at $50 per baboon, $200 per warthog etc. to the aforementioned rhinoceros at $75 - 100 THOUSAND per animal! It is not a secret and is considered a part of conservation 🤔

@killboxonealpha9078 ~ we are all Earthlings, humans are too greedy, taking all the land for agriculture, scraping away nature, land that once was home to many plants, fungi, birds, insects, reptiles, mammals etc. and plant 1 species...wheat or barley or whatever crop. Then spray said crop with insecticides, herbicides and other poisons that get transferred into our bodies..so much poisons, we all have residues in our systems, and people wonder why 1 in 2 get cancer now...just 100 years ago, cancer rates were 1 in 90...we have gone past the point of no return, we are f*cked as a species..

@kawhileopard2174 ~ of course you can compare...cats and dogs are domesticated, they kill for fun, no? Unless you don't feed your pet? Wild African animals don't have some cunt to feed them now, do they? To take them to the vet, pat them all better; let them sit on your computer? Let scary wild animals be just that, without your pathetic, ignorant views, there are millions upon millions of un-homed cats and dogs, you terrible pet owners have let them all down. So leave the rare wild animals out of your thoughts, if it cannot be positive, we need people the absolute OPPOSITE of YOU, we need himans to champion our poor, dwindling wildlife...or won't you be happy til all we have is domestic animals...cats, dogs, pigeons, rats etc...plus the farm animals we eat? That's the way it's going...treating wildlife as some sort of 'enemy' is not fair, we are all Earthlings

These are a selection of videos taken by tourists and rangers in Kruger national park, sent to this channel. There is no "you" and how does one help? Lions are very endangered now, only 25,000 in all of Africa, down from 400,000 at the beginning of the 20th century. There were far more prey animals then too, if there were no carnivores, the gazelles, zebra, wildebeest, buffaloes etc. would multiply and overpopulate, nature doesn't get it wrong

Jesus! there are heaps of video footage of PET dogs behaving like this! Don't be upset about nature, go to the sites online that show PET dogs behaving like this! Yes packs of PET dogs, not even strays (although they do it all the time) pet pooches attack and kill other peoples cats, rabbits, guineas, other dogs, goats, sheep, horses, cattle etc. occasionally humans too, one drunk guy in Australia had both arms eaten off, by dogs, to the shoulders before help came! The African wild dogs are not after humans...but pet dogs KILL 35+ people in the US alone! Every year! ⚠️a quiet warning though...seeing a human mauled to death is not pretty...or quick, it makes you catch your breath! Shocking reality...but it IS reality, pretending it doesn't happen...but it still does! Canine homicide! Where did we go wrong? A simple matter of letting your dog out at night, it can and will team up with other 'nice' doggies and run rampant; cause chaos...you know darn well if your dog does this too, especially rural folks DAMN you breeze-ins who don't understand farm life too, get yourselves a cheap farm house and let your mutts run free, do you understand why they don't always come back? Heh yep, they maul a farmers livestock? They may catch a bullet...if they lucky, keep your mongrels inside, please

@blue-phoenix115 ~ do animals ever help each other? I mean like humans do? there were literally BILLIONS of wild animals, birds, mammals, FISH, crustaceans, insects etc. just 150 - 200 years ago, ALL gone... only people have the right to survive in modern history, no? The Earth used to TEEM with wildlife, so what happened? is is the fact that the planet's wildlife just couldn't keep up with the constant pressure of pollution, trapping/hunting/poaching/poisoning etc., they just couldn't put up with the habitat loss? No one really cares, even to this day, it is very hard for wild animals, to help themselves...😞 only armed with teeth and claws type weapons...but I love them all xx

@user-Void-Star ~ the Gir, Indian lions, still live in the jungle, the lion is not called the 'king of the jungle' for no reason, they prefer to live in jungle, they have been forced out, due to human interference, not from fighting over territory with tigers... tigers are nearly extinct now too... lions would prefer a cool, jungle environment than a harsh African landscape, but the jungles are nearly all gone 😞 there is nearly no habitat, even for the last -2000 Indian or Chinese tigers, let alone any lion populations left...there are only a couple 100 Gir lions left...lions! king of the jungle, ok? but sadly, no longer...

~ they are wonderful, specialized birds, to clear up a certain part of a dead animal...would you rather the flies, from rotting meat? or an extremely interesting bird species, with no feathers, on its head, so it can bury deep, to get the insides, without too much cleaning, of itself (ok, well a lot, it's worth the feast) afterwards...I fkn LOVE all species of vultures, condors etc. they have been so misunderstood and maliged, but really they are fantastic, important birds... LONG LIVE ALL IMPORTANT WILD ANIMALS...

@mrcoatimundi753 - thankyou so much (l love coatimundis and jaguarundis, those type of mostly unknown animals, 100's/1000's of them)
I'm from Australia and not many people care about unusual animals, anywhere really 😕
The SE Asian animals are very interesting too, like tarsiers and civet cats etc.
There are zero protections for SE Asian forests, therefore ALL are endangered.. a real, crying shame..
Australia cannot talk though, we have a dismal record of animal extinctions, absolutely disgusting how we treat our small amount of native forest, we have left.. our remnants of unlogged forest, bushland etc. is STILL cleared for agriculture and worse.. public housing...😟 so much cleared land, now unusable for crops, could be built on, surely?
