I watched a video last night of campus protesters (including two female professors) getting arrested, I think it was at Georgetown. One woman professor’s look of shock when being thrown down by police made me flash back to the photo and look on the face of the young woman who was kneeling next to a dead student at Kent State after Nixon’s National Guard opened fire on the students who were protesting the war in Vietnam. I’m old enough to remember that day well because I was in college then, and it is burned into my memory. Dear god, I don’t want to see that happen again. That was when I seriously started questioning my government. If interested , look up “famous photo from Kent State massacre”.

I just posted a similar comment about the Kent State massacre. Your mother might be about my age, because I remember that well as I was in college at the time, and never want to see it happen again. It pretty much radicalized me too.

@moonlightfishin4113 We’ve already been down that road. Look up the Kent State Massacre of 1970. There are still some of us who remember that. It did not help Nixon or the National Guard, you can bet on that.
