  1. It’s because a lot of Americans have a weird obsession with “celebrity”. That’s how we got Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger (as Governor of CA). They seem to think that because they played a role in a movie that they liked, or had a TV show, that means he’ll be great as a President. It boggles my mind.

  8. Well, yesterday he did say that if he gets re-elected, we’ll “never have to vote again because it’ll all be fixed”. As if people don’t like to vote and have their voices counted because it’s such a chore. And I’m sure we can all figure out what “fixed” means to him. I hope a lot of his followers caught the meaning of that.

  12.  @milansvancara  I agree that NP can look like dementia to a certain extent, as with telling lies, which he has always done, but his cognition is definitely in question with his confusing names, his inability to finish certain words that are easy for most people to say and remember as well as other things, and their regularity is rapidly increasing monthly. I would recommend watching an interview of him in the 80s or 90s (and, yes, his NPD has been very much on display from his earliest days in the public, including his extensive lying), and also a speech or two from when he was first running in 2016, and then a current speech by him. The increased decline is highly apparent. And it’s not just typical “old man” forgetfulness or slowness of speech like Biden, it’s a rapid decline in mental function.
