Every parent has had the experience of having their child “disappear” in the blink of an eye. Children move incredibly quickly sometimes, and it is impossible to be able to see them every moment of every day. Even as just a babysitter, I had this happen. I was washing dishes, and this 1-1/2 year old child was right next to me, and in the time it took me to reach for the next plate, he was gone. It took me at least ten minutes to find him, and that was inside the house. It’s terrifying, and it’s a miracle more children don’t die this way. I will not blame the parent/s unless it’s very obvious they were being willfully negligent.

@roberthamlin6638 I’m sure your comment will give them great comfort. (*sarcasm*) What a cold and cruel thing to say.

Anything could happen. Besides the heat, someone could come up, break into the car and kidnap the kid. You don’t EVER leave a child in a car.

@harijha7560 You’re saying this so many times that it makes it sound like you are covering something up. Are connected to her or him?

I’m glad they were buried together. Seems only right.

I don’t think that would work as your tongue freezes to the pole the very instant it touches. That’s what happened to me when I was about seven and tried to lick my frosty bicycle handlebar. It scared me so badly that I yanked my head away and left a layer of skin frozen on the handlebar, and my tongue bled for a while. It was quite painful.

Same here.

@stevenluo9516 She’s not expressing her view; she’s telling her lived experience. You’re the one only expressing “views”, not necessarily facts.
