If trump got elected again, Barr would be sniffing around him trying to convince trump how he ALWAYS supported him so he could get on the White House or Justice Department payroll again. He says things that comport with whichever way the wind is blowing at the moment.

  4. I will also remember Barr for suggesting to trump that the Equal Rights Amendment should NOT be put into the U.S. Constitution after Virginia became the 38th state to ratify it in 2020. Yes, I know there were questions, by some, about the “deadline”, which was NOT in the text of the amendment, and which was not added to it until the amendment had already been sent to the states for ratification. It is simply a tool for the opponents of equality to shoot it down, as they did, once again, just a couple of weeks ago in Congress. There are even a number of constitutional scholars, like Laurence Tribe, who think it should already be in the Constitution.
