  2. In all fairness, it’s Florida. I lived there for 20 years, and in a swampy area, even if someone heard it (which actually is unlikely in a setting like that) no one is likely to report it because people go out shooting or hunting in wooded areas all the time. It’s just part of life there. I’ve done it myself.

  3. I would think it was a pistol. Pretty hard to shoot yourself with a shotgun, though possible.
