@CloudzIX “His actions speak for themselves.” Well, you are right about that. For example, during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s-1970s, he was arrested for protesting FOR the rights of Black Americans. He even chained himself to a Black woman in protest. (Yes, I have photos). Later, he became the Governor of Vermont (and, if I remember correctly, was Mayor of Burlington, Vermont before that). He has ALWAYS served The People in battling for fairness in government, and, along with AOC, is one of the only members of Congress who refuses to take money from corporations or other groups who don’t support The People. Wherever you and other anti-Bernie people came up with the idea that he is a “grifter”, has three lavish mansions, etc., I would like to see your proof, because neither is true. Bernie is the only person who has served only The People from Congress for decades and decades. He has always fought for fairness for “the little guy”, and against big money in government. Please do some real research of your own instead of parroting right-wing BS against him because they’re all lies, and you’re a fool to keep doing it instead of looking up the truth and thinking for yourself. Quit being a follower, and develop our own mind, if you can bring it out of hiding.
And he has quit talking about millionaires, and started talking about billionaires instead is because, believe it or not, we never had billionaires in America until just about the 2000s, or just 1 or 2 shortly before that, and because they are the ones causing all our problems in government now.

@timpartin6421 I think they got over-excited that maybe, just maybe a woman could actually be President, so they decided she WOULD be, period. Now, as a woman, and a feminist, I also would really love to see a woman President, finally! But, Hillary was not “that” woman. She was “just another neocon” to the vast majority of Americans, so that much is very true in your statement, and they were severely unaware how much she was disliked among the voters in the country. And in their decision to make her President, no matter what, they literally cheated Bernie out of his chance (I’m speaking about Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Donna Brazile at the DNC Convention that year) because they thought Hillary, not Bernie, could beat trump. However, that was when Bernie was at the peak of his popularity, and I still think (although, of course, we can never know positively) that he could have and would have beaten trump. How much better off our country would be now if he had been!

Isn’t it amazing that he’s a few years older than trump, but, unlike trump, his mind is just as sharp as ever, and he’s extremely intelligent, AND caring. He cares deeply about our Democracy and The People. Always has. Always will. He is the complete antithesis of trump and trumpism. If only he had been President for two years, since the first time he ran, we might never have had trump, and life would be much better for the People, and our Democracy would be even stronger. The DNC f**ked up big time on that, and I will never forgive them for that (especially Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Donna Brazile for how they cheated him, and us, at the DNC Convention. Never).

@melanies.6030 Just ask me: Social Security is now my only income, and if they cut that, I, and many, many other Americans who worked all their lives and paid into it from each and every paycheck we received, will be screwed! They hate to see all the homeless people in the streets, but the numbers of the homeless, including seniors, especially older women, will be in those camps. Many elderly women are living in their cars already, and that’s WITH Social Security. That’s not how I ever envisioned my “golden years”. I call them “fool’s gold”.
