  1. It’s very possible that modern Homo sapiens would never have made it through to today if earlier ones hadn’t interbred with Neanderthals. I think they have given us much of their physical strength, and ability to persevere in very rough conditions.

  2. From what I understand, the Denisovans were generally further east, as in Siberia and maybe as far south and east as Mongolia. They apparently interbred with modern humans in other Asian countries. Although this video says that there is as much Neanderthal DNA in Asians and South East Asians today (of course I heard that just as I was typing the first part of my comment). I guess the origins and intermingling of Denisovans will be a separate video, as it seems to me that if there are Asians with Neanderthal DNA, some of them are likely to also have Denisovan DNA as well.
