  13.  @WGARVA People of the U.S. have GOT to get over their idealization of celebrities. Just because someone is famous as an actor or other kind of celebrity doesn’t translate to that person being the right fit for politics. In fact, it’s often quite the opposite, as evidenced by Reagan, Schwarzenegger and trump. Get the stars out of your eyes and minds, folks, and certainly out of politics.

On Election Day, I was stunned at how fast they announced trump “won” (yes, I still have doubts about the validity of that). I was thinking, have all the polling stations on the Left Coast even closed yet? And what about all the overseas military member’s (spread out all over the world) votes? Everything about it just screamed “something’s very wrong about this”.

She said she is VOTING for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, but that she encourages everyone to do their own research, and to register to vote, then vote their own way.   24.  @HLBear Also, the Federalist Society (run by Leonard Leo) picks the most conservative justices in the country who are willing to do what their big donors (and I mean BIG) want, and hands a list of their names to POTUS to appoint to the Supreme Court as well as regional courts around the country. It’s all about money and power.

  37.  @wilber53  Why not? If charges are recommended because of the reports, they earned them. Those are investigations, so that’s how the truth comes out. Any necessary punishment will accrue to that. But I tend to doubt that, because of their positions, there will ever be any consequences in our two-tier culture.
