@ Thanks. Yes, my doctor has everything in my blood checked every year, if not every six months. She always, always, always says “everything is great.” They even email me all the results of each test, and they always show almost right in the middle of the “normal” range, but I sure don’t feel normal. I’m also taking a good multivitamin and potassium, as well as a baby aspirin a day. It’s been like this for almost 25 years. At least I had a lot (a lot!) of fun when I was young. I lived by Janis Joplin’s words: “Get it while you can”, and I did! (BTW, I also saw her in concert!) I’m very happy to hear that you are doing so well at 83. Enjoy every minute. Unfortunately, we’re not all alike in that. I know there are a lot of women in their 70s and 80s, and more, who take walks with their friends regularly, and still take cruises (which I would absolutely love to do again), but that just wasn’t my fate. C’est la vie. There’s so much our medical science and doctors don’t know or haven’t discovered yet . Maybe in 100 years, they’ll have figured this out.
