This entire “debate” was an exercise in theatrics, just as was the “debate” about stating publicly that they’re against any form of (what they mistakenly call) “Socialism”, when everyone knows it’s a lead-up to killing Social Security and Medicare. And look at just how much time they wasted on those theatrics. All because they don’t have anything of real substance to actually help the people of this country.
