Thank you! I’m getting so sick and tired of Bill Maher’s misogyny. I don’t think he’s ever met or heard a woman, of any color, who he couldn’t bash. Of course, if he gets an intelligent woman the show, he still manages to talk over her or rarely gives her a moment to speak (I’m thinking specifically about Nancy McLean, the author of the excellent book “Democracy in Chains”). She hardly got a couple of moments to talk about her book, and the rest of her time there was spent trying to add an opinion now and then when he completely ignored her and spoke over her directly to the other man there. Besides that, I’ve heard him bashing so many women for what appears to be no other reason than a chance to bash another woman. I can’t wait to hear his comments about Lizzo playing James Madison’s Crystal flute! I have a feeling he’ll be calling her a lot a more than “off putting”.
