  2. To me “woke” means not being a sheep…er, I mean, asleep - to the needs of people in the country, on a monetary, physical and personal level (meaning a level of respect and dignity). I would be proud to be thought of as woke.

  5. One of the biggest issues for me, and one almost nobody is talking about, is the fact that we don’t have the Equal Rights Amendment in the Constitution. If that were in the Constitution, none of this could have happened. On the campaign trail, Biden said “I will do everything in my power to see that the Equal Rights Amendment gets put into the Constitution”, and he has done exactly the opposite: he is fighting AGAINST it in court and in Congress right now. In January of 2020, Virginia became the 38th state to ratify the ERA, but trump immediately called Bill Barr and told him to call the Chief Archivist (the person who actually puts a ratified amendment into the Constitution) to tell him NOT to do so. There was also a 2 year waiting period in the amendment (which is ridiculous on its face), so, even with that, it should have gone into effect in January of this year, but, of course, it did not, and guess who was President in January of this year. That’s right, Joe Biden. Instead of “doing everything he can to get it into the Constitution”, he’s fighting it. Why? He could get it done with one phone call. Mitt Romney and other GOP Senators in Congress are fighting on other issues that have been proven to be constitutionally invalid, and Biden has joined them in the fight. As I said, if the ERA were in the Constitution, the overturn of Roe vs. Wade couldn’t have happened. Until the Democrats, including, and especially, Joe Biden) start fighting for OUR rights, I will not support them with my money.

  9. I proudly voted for Bernie. But, we have to remember that it’s not the voter’s fault that Bernie didn’t win. It was the DNC. I blame specifically Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and partly Donna Brazile, who, on their own, decided that Hillary HAD to be the one to win, HAD to be the first woman President of the U.S., and so they cheated Bernie. People also criticized Bernie for dropping out and supporting Hillary, when, by that point, he really had no other choice. They had already killed his chances. And so, we got trump. Thanks a lot, DNC.
