  1. According to recent genetic studies, ancient Sinitic peoples were in fact more similar to Mongols and Koreans, whereas modern Chinese due to heavy admixtures with southern peoples are more similar to SE Asians.

  3.  @aung4842  Right, and plus it's not supported by genetics and physical anthropology (skull features). The ancient Sinitic people were a Northern East Asian people closely related to Koreans, Japanese, and Inner Mongolians.
