  2. Kobe Cressey When it comes to taxes let’s look at the past. In the early 70’s when taxes were extremely high the top 1% in the UK payed 16% of the budget. Today, with lower taxes on the rich the top 1% pays 28% of the budget. Putting taxes on the rich doesn’t work, you will simply be destroying an incentive to be in the UK leading to less taxable money. There’s s reason why the most developed countries, socially and politically are not socialist.
