How you translate that is up to the translation team. The Bible does state bats are birds but that does not alter the fact that they are mammals. It just indicates the writers’ limited understanding of the world around them.

  10.  @dxdrifta  The sun & moon have an angular diameter of approximately 0.5 degrees; a 5 degree tilt on the moon’s orbit easily places slightly out of alignment with sun & earth during the full moon but not far enough for the difference to be readily apparent to the eye.

Being underwater the light is blue, other wavelengths being absorbed by the water. Still waiting on any explanation why the existence of training pools precludes anybody going to space. You seem to have difficulty comprehending that the atmosphere changes with altitude.

Some think the FE is finite, reaching an edge after the impenetrable dome and insurmountable icewall that do/don’t exist but others think there is infinite land beyond the wall/dome that do/don’t exist.

An equation that assumes as even elevation of 6' or the equation for drop that assumes no elevation at all is not going to accurately calculate what is hidden by the geometric curve from your observation point; since atmospheric refraction also affects how far you can see, that too needs to be accounted for rather than ignored. Once all the factors are included there is no discrepancy. Lighthouses are built at higher elevations and/or as towers so they can be seen for a long distance; they are still limited in range.

  113.  @dxdrifta  I've been dealing with FE'ers for a few years; that they are usually stuck on one factor is an observation. Trying to get across that there can be multiple contributory factors can be difficult; some can handle a second but three or more and you get accusations of muddying the waters. When it comes to "cold light" it is necessary to think what heat sources are around you and what the heat flow is; you can't dismiss everything those simply because you are interested in only one source. The most common mistake is placing a cover over the thermometer without being aware that heat rises from the ground or other surface and will be trapped under the cover; it's not the moon cooling the thermometer, it's the covering effectively warming it up. Placing it in the shade can mean moving closer to a house that is exuding heat or placing it on a different surface with a different heat capacity. Their methodology is too lackadaisical to be worth anything in. Light is energy; contribute energy to something and you will get heat. None of the people talking about "cold light" are able to put forward a hypothesis how the could be negative energy or how the moon and only the moon would be emanating such. There have been astronomers for millenia; that the moon is reflecting sunlight is long established. No FE explanation has ever been forthcoming as to how the moon would be self-powered, have phases or show the same face to everybody. Yes, science can change but it requires evidence and sound reasoning whereas FE'ers rely on just gotta be & just does. Yes, their ideas are usually readily disprovable; in this case it's ignoring heat flow, claiming negative energy and assuming the moon is a light.

  139. I find it difficult to believe that you can’t get refills or that none would discuss changing your medication if it’s causing you problems. Some things don’t have a cure; the body is highly complex and all that is feasible is tweaking the system to reduce the severity of the affliction. There’s no conspiracy to hide cures.

An infection is from outside and can be specifically affected by antibiotics but most diseases are internal and you can’t affect one component without interfering with others. Medication can minimise or stem the effects but it’s unlikely you could have a precise enough effect to cure internal diseases. The notion of magic bullets went decades ago; just how complex the body is wasn’t understood at the time. Medicine is science-based; most doctors are not scientists per se but they do have a far better understanding of how the body works than most people. I believe the debate is at what point it is justifiable to start using opioids, not whether they should be used at all. People can and do get addicted when the pain is not too severe but what qualifies as severe is fuzzy. As I said before, the body is complex; the pain itself can affect how addictive a body finds opioids.

The principle role of a doctor is to treat diseases with already proven means, not to experiment on the patient. That work is done by MDs & PhDs, with a clear hypothesis, voluntary patients and is controlled as to what is being taken and the effects documented. Percocet is an immediate release and intended for acute pain; all the contents of the tablet enter the bloodstream at much the same time to deal with a specific painful event. OxyContin is the delayed release form for oxycodone and is intended for use with chronic pain; it's the same drug but essentially the oxycodone is gradually released from the matrix in a continuous low dose. The only difference is the matrix that enables the gradual release and that euphemistically comes out the far end. As I said earlier, everything in the body is interconnected. The inflammation will be exacerbated by the stress from dealing with the pain. For you, the alleviation was effective in reducing the arachnoiditic symptoms.

  145.  @Opinlinz  Whether or not you & I have discussed it is irrelevant; my comment stands. I’ve had this discussion countless times over the years; I’ve often supplied documents or links to where various “secret” documents are available for public scrutiny. There seems to be a common assumption that either the information should be beamed into their heads or people should come to the door and shove copies into their hands; many seem to be clueless that they have to make any effort.

I'm pointing out that if NASA scientists tell you something over lunch then it is unlikely to be hush-hush secret; I'm not claiming to know what they said to you or be au fait whichever project it was.
