@daviddolezal7950 There’s no such things as negative pressure (a vacuum is zero pressure). That you don’t know how a planet can have atmosphere is ignorance on your part, not fantastic insight. Parroting what you heard from some ignoramus is not spreading wisdom; it’s parroting ignorance.

Under gooseberry bushes. With the decline in home births it has become apparent they aren't brought in the doctors' black bags.
14
@ekiskaliburnirvana9047 Still waiting for these videos with visible wires rather than an arrow pointing at nothing.
10
@daviddolezal7950 “you cant have presurized atmosfere without container” Which is why I am asking you where you think there is atmosphere next to vacuum on the globe model. If you didn’t think there wasn’t then you wouldn’t be making the statement so where do you think it is?
10
Check the chronological order of the FE-related videos. He’s had a lot of abuse from people convinced they have the Real Answers but who can’t explain anything, can’t understand the simplest explanations, think observable reality is wrong and think everything’s a conspiracy. Your patience would be stretched.
9
@profitnotpoverty5479 Manned missions haven’t been back. There have been abundant unmanned missions to the moon since.
8
@profitnotpoverty5479 How did you measure the distance to the FE sun? Explain how perspective would make it set below the horizon.
7
@daviddolezal7950 If you don’t think that then you had better think it through since that is what you’re claiming.
7
The maths works fine. 8"/mile squared does not define curvature much less calculate how far you can see.
6
@OllieToddy37 FE’ers think the UN logo is a secret message that the Earth is flat; they can’t explain how you would incorporate a 3D logo on a flag.
6
Because the cameras are in appropriate for low light intensities.
5
Stefan Patrascu You think every human in the world has to test something before there is any acceptable verification? That does seem to be a basic demand of FE’ers though they never explain why it doesn’t apply to their ideas. Do you want to explain that as well?
5
Stefan Patrascu For the third time, curvature of space-time caused by the gravitational field that is an inherent property of matter. You do realise that knowing how something occurs is not a prerequisite for something being able to occur? That humans were making fire aeons before the Theory of Combustion was deduced? You need to produce conclusive evidence that the world is flat. No FE’er has been able to do that yet. None can even come up with a working map. Do you realise that ignorance is not knowledge?
5
There’s only two things that FE’ers agree upon: that the Earth is flat and that they are agreed upon all the details. However none of them can agree what those agreed upon details are. You’ll find each FE’er has their own version which they will all swear blind is the agreed upon model.
5
Stefan Patrascu Sigh. Explain how density can act as a force and why in a consistent direction.
4
Stefan Patrascu So how do people float in the vomit comet?
4
Stefan Patrascu When none of you can answer questions, simply refer to screwy videos and wave your hands claiming worldwide conspiracies running for a few thousand years to fool you with the end-purpose of fooling you, why do you think people call you idiots?
4
UK courts still have oaths but you can choose to affirm rather than swear on a Bible. To answer your question: personal choice.
4
They generally deny planets exist and wouldn’t be able to figure how temperature can be measured without them going there to do it.
4
@ekiskaliburnirvana9047 I’m not prepared to sit through 26 min for a view of wires; give a time stamp.
4
@brendymcc7788 "Not space station or mosaic sattelite image like a live image of earth space in real time" Where would you like the cameras mounted and what difference would it make exactly?
4
@spacefanboy Driver’s petmits are withheld to dtop prople driving north-south?
4
@daviddolezal7950 Where do you think atmosphere is next to vacuum on a globe?
4
Pointing out when someone is wrong is offensive? Calling people names isn’t? Gravitational field causing warping of space-time. Are you trying to claim gravity doesn’t exist?
3
Stefan Patrascu The flying style with gravity simply means the people fall at the same rate as the plane. Since the plane, the people and the air in it are all falling then argument that it is density making them fall would mean the people stay on the plane floor.
3
@chrisxx8033 To calculate how far you can see you need to take into account curvature, elevation & atmospheric refraction. Failing to include one or both of the latter two means you see further than the erroneous calculation says you should. When everything is properly accounted nobody has found they can see too far.
3
@rhetoricalquestion6009 On one wonderful occasion the FE'er dismissed the model he'd produced just to get out of replying to the criticisms.
3
There are a few hoaxsters making money from it, a good number of trolls just trying to wind people up and unfortunately a high proportion of dumb clucks who think ignorance is knowledge.
3
@rhetoricalquestion6009 Pedalling makes the world rotate. 🙂
3
I’ve asked; it’s never occurred to them to consider what the sun would look like.
3
@Krugis It's baffling to me how the people who refer so often to perspective seem to have no idea why large & distant is still visible.
3
@dyls2702 The equation you are using is a rule of thumb for geometric drop, not for how much is hidden at that distance. It was used by 19th century land surveyors while setting up their theodolites and assumes a completely smooth ball (no variation in elevation) with no atmosphere (no refraction). Obviously the Earth is neither smooth nor airless. In reality the distance to the horizon and how much is hidden behind it is dependent on your elevation and the prevailing atmospheric refraction; FE gurus don't bother telling people about that, just give them an equation that is simple but inappropriate. Gibbon Basher gave you the correct formula for taking elevation into account.
3
Someone is trying to arrange a cruise around Antarctica to prove the coastline is too long but will be using the "inaccurate" global maps to get there.
2
@MrMallorcaboy You won't get many answers and the ones you do get will be inconsistent with each other and the laws of physics.
2
Good luck; I long since concluded I would have to resort to torture to get the explanations out of them because, despite their supposed desire to share the explanations, all they are willing to divulge is illogical, ignorant crap.
2
@stefanp8888 Are you trying to argue that all facts are relative, that everybody is right regardless of observable reality? Gravity is curvature of space-time caused by the gravitational field that is a property of matter.
2
@steverushforth7009 Yiu don’t have to explain to me 😊
2
https://www.popsci.com/10-ways-you-can-prove-earth-is-round/
2
@Anthony AT I think it's more a case than you would see a different face of the moon. If everybody sees the same face everywhere except inverted in the southern hemisphere then it could be argued that the moon is flat but that would also mean it would appear circular only if you were directly underneath it.
2
@GrimGod81 Einstein said it couldn't be proved USING LIGHT. Missing a few words off a quote to change its meaning is deception, not uttering some profound truth.
2
@MrQuaiven Definitely the one in the middle :-)
2
It used to be fixed speed until yiur example (or similar) readily disproved it; it shifted to constant acceleration (and screw the variation in gravity between locations) until it became apparent how fast the Earth would be going in less than a year. Now they’re onto density is a force or simply spontaneous motion.
2
@AstroKnight_Gaming The atmosphere declines in pressure with increasing altitude; by the time you reach 50km it is essentially a vacuum. 50km is a greater distance than the millimeter thickness of the seal or balloon membrane you refer to. In the atmosphere the pressure difference across millimeter distances is essentially zero; gravitational force acting on the air molecules is sufficient is sufficient force to counter the diffusion.
2
You realise the children go up? That the adult "conspirators" were once kids?
1
high240 You’re supposed to be questioning what you’re told, not questioning what you’re told. 😊
1
high240 Quite. They insist you do it and then get shirty when you do.
1
Scott Meyer 42 splits? Only Shaggy & Scooby could handle that...
1
Yet they never explain who they think would gain when every penny (and more) would have to be ploughed into maintaining a 2000 year plus conspiracy.

Watch the FE videos that he’s subsequently made.

@miklo5755 "Why are we the most advanced?" A combination of thumbs and brains plus evolutionary pressure from a changing environment. Intelligence is unusual but not unique to humans, eg, chimps and dolphins. "And to have an argument you need to know about dna" Other than traces of Neanderthal from cross-breeding, there's no indication of inserted genes.
1
@miklo5755 Evolution does not change features sequentially. There was a branch of mammals that had developed opposable digits for climbing; when rudimentary intelligence enabled the use of tools (even as simple as twigs) then the two thumbs were more use than grasping something in the teeth. From there, brains & thumbs would gradually alter in tandem. Throw in the change in environment where tools became more useful than climbing there is evolutionary pressure on both hands & brains to become adept at using tools. There is evidence that some species are capable of abstract reasoning which would be the basis of intelligence. Nobody is saying that another species matches out level of intelligence, but intelligence is not limited to humans.
1
@miklo5755 Anything more than rudimentary is above rudimentary.
1
@miklo5755 It doesn't matter how advanced the intelligence is, if it more than rudimentary then it will be "some levels above rudimentary intelligence". That is the answer to the question that you asked.
1
@miklo5755 What makes it impossible for an ape? Just the contrast with other existing apes?
1
@miklo5755 Darwin was the first to propose evolution; he was not the only person then or since to work on evolution. On The Origin of Species was the seminal work, not the definitive textbook. Evolutionary pressure is against intelligence; fight or flight is going to be more effective than pondering on a defensive strategy. One of our ancestors was in a niche where coordinated strategy was advantageous.
1
@miklo5755 When instinct tells you to run any pause for thought means you’re lunch.
1
@smerbothefleeb5699 I think of the 286's 30 years ago and I wonder how fast it ran.....
1
You mean everything falling down at the same rate regardless of air resistance, i.e., no buoyancy? They would unless the air is also moving upwards; presumably they would argue that the FE accelerating upwards is creating the upwards air motion but they would need to explain why only air is affected or why there isn't a pressure difference close to the ground.
1
@logosrisingbear Try listening to what Byrd actually said: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czW0iRJuH1A And I do mean listen. There's a booming tourist trade to Antartica and an annual boat race around the continent. How do you think people manage it without going there? Starfish Prime was the AEC & the Defense Atomic Support Agency, not NASA. The lowest explosions were about 2000ft, the highest 200 miles. How high is the dome? Does it move? Operation Kingfish is a Call of Duty fan film. The Go-Fast rocket smashed into a dome without even jarring the camera? Do you want to explain your reasoning? The Earth has had billions of years in which to get all the atmosphere moving.
1
Anthony AT Sorry; I’ve made a few edits to clarify it. It’s the doublethink reasoning of FE’ers; they need a close moon to be flat so everybody sees the same features while also needing it to be a globe so it always appears circular.
1
@rhetoricalquestion6009 Is 5 times a record?
1
@therealzilch Ouch.
1
@therealzilch I just remembered this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XTwWqzKeXc&t=1s
1
Flash Gordon was leaving Earth to battle Ming the Merciless long before NASA existed. :-)
1
Mass would increase so you would need an ever increasing force to maintain constant acceleration.
1
They seem to think that magnets are monopolar and that there is a giant monopole at the North Pole (I doubt they can distinguish between geographic & magnetic poles) towards which compasses point. I assume at some point they have seen magnetic repulsion due to magnets being bipolar but they don't seem to notice the discrepancy.
1
With or without jam?
1
Captain ramius You need the equivalent of a visa to go; they are simple and cheap to obtain. Nobody is stopping from going so quite bellyaching and go.
1
David Smith Where do you think that I inferred that?
1
Brian Fletcher Why do you think angling a camera downwards wouldn’t make something appear higher?
1
Russell Anderson The vast majority of the signal isn’t reflected due to dissipation en route to the moon& back.

Great Scott!
