  1. In that stage of the war the F-105 usually carried 750 lb. bombs rather than 500 lb. bombs. The double sidewinder rack was high drag and was avoided, but I don't think the single missile rack was high drag. However, it was often replaced by a bomb or an ECM pod anyway.
