@zz No, take it from welfare, healthcare, funding the arts and PBS, education, and other programs that replace individual choice and responsibility. The government is responsible for the national defense, not for supporting individuals by taking money from some and handing it out to others.

@DoRC Basic basic education is funded by local government, not the federal government. Health care and higher education should not be funded by the federal government either. You sound like a person who doesn't comprehend the constituted purpose of the federal government. Even given that purpose, If federal funding of education would educate persons such as yourself I would see some utility in it, but the government provided educational system has obviously failed.

@untilvalhalla7854 Obviously something went wrong, but it is not because it was a training flight. Most flights include training. Fully qualified crewmembers need practice. The military could come up with a different terms for non-operational flights just to prevent this common misunderstanding among civilians.

It's sad that persons who consider themselves journalists are jumping on the alien bandwagon, and then expect their viewers to consider this limited footage as some sort of evidence. To begin with, characterizing the motions displayed here as "intelligently controlled" is ridiculous, unless the alien pilot suffers from Parkinsons or St Vitus Dance. Looks just as likely to be some sort of sensor or a video artifact as an alien vessel. l have actually seen a couple of UFOs maneuvering with seemingly impossible accelerations myself, from both the cockpit and the ground, by eyeball and with radar. The one thing common to them was that they remained "U"-- unidentified and unexplained. To this day I don't know what I actually observed, but I still don't have any real reason to believe they were alien vessels. Problem with most people is they can't live with an open question, so they are compelled to invent and believe in a conclusion. They should try to accept uncertainty while waiting for hard evidence.
