  2.  @PyrrhicPax  a truism: if you have experiential knowledge about one of the “isms” (ableism, racism, sexism, etc) - it usually means you can understand most of the others to at least some degree. This is because all forms of bigotry run on the same “firmware”, e.g. the same basic prejudices and thinking.

  4. No, you’re most definitely NOT paranoid. I’d say you’re just being justifiably cautious. Being born disfigured and disabled, especially with certain disabilities, can lead to something that resembles “social phobia” - as well as wondering just who is going to try (assault, harass, abuse, bully, etc.) for you next. This also includes police. The sole benefit accruing from not being a person of color then is that one can “hide in plain sight” providing one works hard at it - keep moving, don’t attract any kind of attention, never argue, presume everyone has it in for you, and try to merge with the scenery as much as you can.

Answer: To gain Rank in his cliques, by asserting Dominance over “the enemies of his Leader and said Leader’s Regime” - which, ultimately, is everyone who does not worship that Leader. Note that all rewards under Authoritarianism are based upon your rank in the Organization - and also, Authoritarianism postulates that NO-ONE has rights. One has privileges, which must be earned, usually on an ongoing basis - and what privileges one can earn are largely determined by matters of Caste.
