The truth was that the character in the light-colored suit considered HIMSELF inconvenienced. He considered HIMSELF disrespected. Only HE mattered.

@johnkesich8696 I used to buy - to a small degree - the lies that led to Iraq, e.g. Saddam might have had small-scale Chem or Bio stuff - college research level - as that would be easy to hide or explain; and he might have slipped a little something to AQ now and then so as to cause trouble, again using the idea of “plausible deniability” and intermediaries. Large-scale production, and significant aid to AQ - too easy to trace. The other part was my simply being too busy putting one foot in front of the other (due, largely, to being born disabled) to pay much attention to “political matters. It did not help at all that there’s a lot of this stuff that I’m still largely UNABLE to really understand the way a normal person appears/seems to understand. It took Damp getting in - and enduring flashbacks regularly, due to living for a decade in something akin to an Authoritarian Regime - for me to begin paying attention at or near the current level. Bush simply didn’t have me hearing nonstop cursing via the voice or recollection, nor did he cause me to hear the sound of a shotgun chambering a shell. Damp did, and does.
