  2.  @juniorxranger  correct. I am not sure I would call it “conservative,” given the <censored> attitudes of those who currently have stolen that label. I am a firm believer in being as careful as is practicable (in general), planning ahead to the best of one’s (often limited) ability, and exercising an appropriate level of fiscal discipline - again, to the best of one’s (usually limited) ability. I am also convinced that bad things can - and do - happen to the best of us. Hard work is usually a necessary condition to do well, but it is not a sufficient condition. Finally, illness and accidents happen - which means we all must look out for one another as best we can.

  3. Y’all sound about like the sort I can agree with, even if I might be implementing what you talked about a bit differently. I’m more into planning ahead and being careful - in general, not just money.
