  1. Yes, he can have his ears ring from an explosion or three! He can dodge hot lead! Perhaps he can have something hit HIS leg. He can see his shattered bones! (And endure PTSD.) I was not able to get into the military due to being born deaf on my right side, and being extremely nearsighted. I flunked the military physical in 1977. Good test scores didn’t help much. That did not matter, as I still dodged hot lead, got stabbed, was attacked multiple times, and got blown up. Some of this was due to my own stupidity, but most was essentially a pervasive version of hardcore bullying and abuse that endured for decades.
