  1. I was expecting some well-used, heavily repaired cloth stuff, actually - stuff dating from the time of Khrushchev… Same for the rifle, only the one shown didn’t get the “drowned in a vat of Cosmoline” treatment!

  2.  @cindyweatherly4501  I think one can find all three volumes online, in PDF form. In print, finding the first volume is fairly easy, but the other two can take some doing.
