  1. Could one use a mixture of paraffin and beeswax for these candles? Also, if using straight paraffin - does one add stearin acid or similar? Thanks in advance. Ps: got a “genuine” UCO lantern in brass, recently. Have two candle lanterns now.

  2.  @Mr.Bobcat1776  did so. Most of the published dimensions were a bit large, e.g. 1.25 x 5 in imperial units. Based on the measurements I took with several samples, those are a bit large to fit in either of the two lanterns I have, e.g. diameter I recall is about 1.18 inches, and the overall length was closer to 4 inches. Looks like I’ll need to experiment, then.

  3. I have one of these things, or a copy thereof. Got it years ago. Have used it a few times during power outages. Thought to make something vaguely like it using rechargeable batteries - no more burnt fingers…
