  10.  @sidvicous613  are you exceedingly wealthy, or on the verge of becoming so - a 1%er? Are you a BigCorp? Only if one or both of the above is true did you do significantly better under DJ. Otherwise, it was, at the very best, a wash. The vast majority did worse, some (much) worse than others - and the only way one can dispute that, unless you’re a 1%er, or a BigCorp - is “via heavy indoctrination.”

The latter, unfortunately, has been building at an accelerated rate among “Republicans” for many years - until the lot became Reprehensible in speech and action.

  24. Question: much of my objections toward modern “conservatives” are threefold: 1) mean-spiritedness/cruelty; 2) bigotry; and 3) amorality/criminality. If those matters are dealt with, seemingly what remains is what many individuals and families do by necessity - planning ahead, being careful (in general, not just financially; the idea is to not make things worse, or wasting money and time) and exercising a “prudent” level of fiscal discipline - again, by necessity.
