  3. No, not him. Us. Too many of us genuinely like what they see when they look at DJ, and they approve of what they think he’s “for.” We are all in for a rude awakening.

  4. Question: much of my objections toward modern “conservatives” are threefold: 1) mean-spiritedness/cruelty; 2) bigotry; and 3) amorality/criminality. If those matters are dealt with, seemingly what remains is what many individuals and families do by necessity - planning ahead, being careful (in general, not just financially; the idea is to not make things worse, or wasting money and time) and exercising a “prudent” level of fiscal discipline - again, by necessity.

  5.  @grepora  true. He’s in it for himself, no plans for the future, chiefly because he thinks there isn’t one after he’s “done” here. He most likely knows he doesn’t have a lot of time. Hence his goals: 1) get and then use Absolute Power; 2) get revenge on the whole country, including his followers and the 1%; 3) enrich himself.
