  3. It often suffices that the tank is damaged enough that it must be abandoned. Of course, if it “flips its fryer” - it’s going to be vastly harder to repair, and the crew is likely to be out of commission as well.

  8. Those (modified) VOG-17/30 30mm grenades are listed as having a 7 meter “lethal” radius - which, while probably overstated, means that if one goes off nearby, you will get hurt at the least. The one individual nearest the blast is most likely not going to survive.

  26. The Rashists see only “enemy” - people not of Their group - when they see non-Rashists. There are NO civilians in their eyes. Also, some Rashists see minorities of Their group as “verging on enemy status,” and hence are nearly as big of a hurry to deal with them as they are non-Rashists. As someone who verges on being “blind” to body language, I’m forced to use other means.

  31.  @yes-yes-yo  wish I knew (more) Polish, so I could understand what you wrote. What I have learned of such matters has chiefly been used in writing original fiction, to describe the language of another, well known (on alien worlds) group of people. Their Language most closely resembles Czech, although one might detect hints of Serbo-Croatian, Polish, and Ukrainian as well. They are said to be most fond of the beverage mentioned, though it has berries in it in lieu of hops, and is largely lacking in alcohol and similar intoxicants. It does have substantial nourishment, however, and when consumed largely, has a calming influence.
