I tend to think of most MAGALanders as being smarter than I am (at least socially) - and even I know that tariffs are “an importation tax, paid upon entering the country (while clearing customs) that is ultimately paid by the end consumer. This is a regressive tax, meaning it affects those at the bottom more than those nearer the top.”
