  1. At 1:15:00 or so -“most men don’t know … when they’re hit.” Actually, it varies quite a bit. Severe injuries, in general, when accompanied by blood loss, induces shock. (Recalling my own instance circa 1979) - you’re really thirsty. The pain may and may not register.

Still, though - you almost need to have the right kind of background to fully buy into the totality of extermination. Trouble was, those people had a seriously raw deal more or less everywhere - in many ways, a lot of us still do. They were the people the NSDAP practiced on so as to get ready for the big time. It continued after the official end of the war until the medical people were staring down the barrels of hot guns…

  4. More like they say they’re fake. They know they are Not fake - but they don’t just approve of the camps did - they want to finish the damnable job that A.H. started.

  7. You can go too far with that stuff. You can do it for a while - a few decades - but the personal cost can be frightful, e.g. stress-induced coronary vasospasm leading to myocardial infarction….
