  1. At 1:15:00 or so -“most men don’t know … when they’re hit.” Actually, it varies quite a bit. Severe injuries, in general, when accompanied by blood loss, induces shock. (Recalling my own instance circa 1979) - you’re really thirsty. The pain may and may not register.

  5. You can go too far with that stuff. You can do it for a while - a few decades - but the personal cost can be frightful, e.g. stress-induced coronary vasospasm leading to myocardial infarction….
