  1. You’d almost have to provide some if you wish him to survive the treatment. Trouble is, this sounds closer to giving a grossly inadequate dosage, e.g. “prescription Tylenol” when a PCA pump loaded with Hydromorphone (surgery #20) would be much more appropriate - which would be less than what “The Island” would give after their version of “Major Surgery” - or more, Full Alteration.

  2. Yes? I have one of those, mostly due to Goldenhar Syndrome affecting my breathing passages. Was diagnosed ~ 20 years ago. Note: I suspect V. needs an extra-special type called an Adaptive Servo Ventilation device. These are but a modest step below a full-on Ventilator, and are used to treat Central or Mixed Apnea.
