  1. The EV will wish periodic maintenance as well. I dose the gears of ebikes with Mobil-28 grease on something of a schedule.

  4. If one somehow gets a “neglected” engine that still runs - would one dump in some Marvel Mystery Oil prior to changing and idle for a few minutes prior to the actual oil change? Then fresh oil, run for, say, a few days, then repeat the change procedure?

  5.  @tommybronze3451  I was going by what I had heard many years ago. I didn’t trust it entirely. That said, MMO is a decent “light oil” in general, and it seems to dissolve crud to a degree. It works passably at freeing up old tools - did a doweling jig not too long ago.

  6.  @tommybronze3451  I'm not in the market for anything resembling a car right now, but I'll keep that advice in mind should I need to get one on the future.
