Presuming the person he is interrogating is a morally deficient/ severely criminal individual - someone who deserves to be punished, who deserves to suffer. This kind of attitude seems to be very common in “Law Enforcement.”

@TinasCrazyLife it’s only a small step from this kind of treatment to full-blown torture to get a confession that lines up with the preconceived notions the interrogator might have.

I can hear some slurring in the one being questioned. The legal presumes his prey is drunk or high - and deserves to be abused. I’m surprised the “detective” isn’t doing some hardcore torture - no, not enhanced interrogation, but Gestapo stuff.

@maureenperez5676 because to the CopGang, only two kinds of people aren’t criminals and morally deficient: 1) the 1%, whom they serve; and 2) fellow members of the CopGang. If you aren’t in one of those two groups, you are going to be seen as a morally-deficient Criminal who deserves abuse, imprisonment, and death.
