  2. True. That will help out regarding medical use. (In addition to other benefits) I had a doctor suggest this stuff to me back in 2008. I was not inclined.

In my case, I need all of what wits I have, since I must do a lot of things by conscious effort that the majority of people seem to do by something that looks like instinct. I am not sure I would be helped, unless I look less “driven” while still being able to think about what I am doing. An example would be the need to “stop and plan carefully just what I going to do next BEFORE attempting to do it.” This includes cooking meals more complex than “put bread on warmed griddle,” and cleaning beyond “take out already-bagged trash.”
