  1. Somehow, I suspect that in Putrid’s Russia, the Geneva Convention is given lip service at best. They might speak of the matter, saying one thing - while communicating something like “only fools actually try to follow that tripe, and such fools do not live here, hail Putrid!” Note that in “the great patriotic war,” the Soviets did not follow it, because (I think) they never signed it. Addendum: they did sign/ratify in 1954. In 2019, however, Putrid rejected a portion of it. The original post, a supposition on my part, still sounds very plausible.

I might be able to supply a (small) portion of the answer as to how one can be “intelligent” and educated, and yet “buy” such obvious propaganda: If you are severely brutalized from early childhood - frankly, severely abused; in my case, over a decade - it can do some very bad things to how you think in every area of life. This is especially true if one is also substantially disabled. Were I able to do the things most “Normal” people seem to be able to do in the social world, I’d be an absolute sociopath. As it is, I routinely expect the people around me to prey upon me in a ruthless and relentless fashion, up to including assault and attempted murder.
