Recall seeing a Ukrainian vid speaking this type of mine cut into 1/4s and then used as “tossers”. They spoke of using a bandsaw on the defused items….

You don’t have to do much at all in this horror-show to get named a “red.” Starting a Union can do it, for example.

Just the thing to keep your Iwatani stove happy! Note: such a stove appears to be pictured at the end of the Vid!

Zojirushi? Seems so. Awesome. Hope to get one of these in the future. (Rice doesn’t make me sick. Lots of other foods - DO. )

Stoves that use these, e.g. Iwatani FW35, as supposedly very popular in that part of the world. Also, if one has the right adapter, this type of canister works well in a Trangia gas burner. (I have the alcohol burner, too.) I have tested this second matter. It simmers well. Should help in both power outages and while traveling.

Uses bagged charges!

You’d think they’d just use sheet steel and spot-welding for the case, then paint it with a species of enamel??? - then mentioned as that’s what they did for the military/KGB version!
3
Yes, I do want a Zojirushi rice cooker!
3
They did have DC (motor-generator sets) welders, e.g. “torpedo” or “silo” machines.
3
Note: secure your anvils. Dodging them can be trouble if they decide to HOP!

What if you only drive two or three thousand miles per year? Once a year, or more more often yet?

There’s an Airco-branded equivalent of the Dialarc, called a “bumblebee…” I’ve used one a few times. They run 6011s really good, and the same for 7018-AC (the 7018s you can find at, say, Löwes.)
2
1:20 - “working toward the Führer” was the phrase used, I believe.
2
That massive “diode” looks a lot like a resistor - like a 1% tolerance metal-film item…
2
vast swarms of Cleco temporary fasteners….
2
Used to have Wacky Willies in Portland. Closed a while back. Bummer.
2
Awesome carpenter’s ax!
2
“… Butte, state of Montana, and her was a sporting woman…”
2
Just the thing for soup - this, some rice or noodles, veggies, a little soy sauce, and maybe some spices. It looks really good, too!
2
“….respiratory issues….” #2097 filters. Have to wear a respirator when I do stick, or when I’m in the area where stick is happening. I’ll be unable to breathe otherwise. Note: a milder version can happen during periods of worse-than-normal air pollution, though I can recall being near-collapse in my teens (mid-late seventies) in Southern California. (Really bad pollution.)

I wonder if Vlad listens to “The Doors?” - as in their song, “The End?”

The larger rods seem to be more intimidating to me. (Hence nicknaming them as “pool cues.”)

You do VERY well. As part of studying (for writing fiction) I’ve been learning something of Slavic languages. This started in high school, where I encountered Hašek’s book.

“An old steamy train, with soot!”

“When the Rock gets hard, you want a big stick…” Printed on boxes of (fictional) Giant Powder.

Yup, there’s always a need for a four-foot Beezlebub - a large and sturdy pry-bar. This name comes from my teens, when I encountered - and named - a large and sturdy (about twenty pounds) all metal pry-bar. Addendum to above: seems these are called “rat-tail crowbars”, and are sold at farm stores, e.g. Wilco. They look to have a copy for 60 or so, and five feet long.

Ozzy Beer? (Bundaberg is an Oz brand.) Cleaning - 99% isopropyl alcohol? (Can get this at Fred Meyer’s, 2.49 for 16 oz - about 60% of Acetone. (Acetone for final cleaning?) A preliminary cleaning can be done with a mix of rubbing alcohol (70%) used to rinse out “empty” bottles of liquid dish soap. You want it to look like Windex. It really gets rid of grease and dirt.

@ 11:40 and on, that’s appliqué armor, as that’s to give an added thickness of armor in hopes of keeping enemy AP rounds out…
1
Stick-welding - or Stink-Welding? Hope I never have to do something like this.

Silo Welders!

Sounds a bit like a Maserati 250F?

At 5:10 - electric elephant!

Oh, and Online is a good choice if there are no Menards stores nearby, e.g. if you’re near the west coast. The two Tractor Supply stores I’ve been in didn’t impress me much - only have Hobart sticks….
1
Speedglas 9100xx(?) - helps me see what I’m doing…
1
Have heard that Hobart 6011 wants a lot of O.C. voltage to light off, and my (very) limited experience with the stuff bears this out. Have wanted a smaller “portable” welder that helped to practice with 6011/6010, but the one I bought, by AHP, did not like either at all.
1
At 1:08 - steam-driven rhinoceros sighted!
1
Supposedly 7018 and the like tend to run “better” if they’re kept “warm and dry.” True???
1
Bummer. Had tools stolen out of my truck, back when I had a truck. Numb question: is there a 200 Amp or so “electrode holder” that has a “smaller” handle? The few of them I’ve held over the years were a bit larger that way than I like….
1
1091 cu. Inch Hall-Scott - inline six.
1
At ~ 10:00 - vast store of tailings. I hope to go to Virginia City one day. Read about it as a teenager.

When did this kind of Rod come out? I’m thinking ww2 or so, or maybe earlier?

Lithium batteries need to have intelligent charging AND battery-managing systems. As for the charger, it probably can handle anywhere between 100 volts (Japan) to 240 (England, some other European countries.). All they need to customize then is the cord, much like a Grin Tech “Satiator” charger…

Mainstream Media is, by being corporate, inherently Right-leaning at the least. Given that the mingling of state and corporate power is the bulk of Fascism - one can see where the MSM wants to go.

Need cataract surgery…
1
Spatter - blops! (What I called those little round things when working at Sunkist. I needed to clean them off pattern-packer frames to get them ready for painting.)
1
Generator welder for arc-gouging probably needs a 4-53 Detroit-Diesel engine, and a thousand amps continuous!

With many of these (ultra-wealthy) people, their “philanthropy” was a form of image-laundering.
1
Uses a cover flux. Thought so…

Perhaps later this year, for a weakish web-server???
1
At 9:20 - straight-horn bull!

The Airco version of this welder is quite powerful. It can weld any kind of stick imaginable.
