  1. I agreed with the first sentence, but your suggestion was TERRIBLE. The absolute LAST thing Bernie needs to do is give a middle finger to black voters over a dumb grudge from 2016. As 2016 showed, it's impossible for a Democrat to win the Primary (and the General Election as well) without getting the majority of black voters. I think Bernie would be best served by directly addressing the issue by agreeing to form a committee to study the issue of how reparations could be done (as there is no universal or consensus agreement as to how reparations should be paid, from whom, and in what forms to the black community). Bernie should co-sponsor James Clyburn's bill and address a plan to form a reparations study committee. That can finally sufficiently address this issue while still being honest and not pandering (unlike Castro, Kamala, Booker, or Warren). Preferably he should make that announcement in the South. Maybe the next time he's campaigning in South Carolina. Bernie stitch up potential wedge issues that could potentially cost him the black vote without having to lie or pander. If he gets the black vote he's almost got it in the bag.
