If Bernie runs an Independent or 3rd Party he'll get next to no Media coverage, have no state voter mobilization apertures, won't be on the ballot in some states (which will essentially doom him with the Electoral College), and he likely won't be on the Presidential Debate stage. He'd need at least 65% of Democrats to cross over and vote Independent or 3rd Party. Good luck with that as long as there's a Democrat in the Presidential race (which there will be). No way in Hell you'll convince most Democrats not to vote Democrat, especially if Donald Trump is running for reelection. 3rd parties will become a force eventually, but it won't be in 2020. Most Democrats are NOT fed up enough with the Democratic Party to vote 3rd Party (only a few million Democrats DemExited) and there is no way in Hell Bernie, Tulsi or Nina will become President unless they convince most Democrats to vote for them. They can't win on Independent votes alone (and a large minority of Independents are going to vote for Trump). Best path for Bernie in 2020 is running as a Democrat. That will ensure him the majority of Democratic votes.
