FMX646 - Racism did not end 50 years ago. Systematic racism is still alive and well. Aside from this comment section and these shootings on video being a good example, Google "Ghetto Loans" from banks during the Subprime era. Or "redlining". Or the cuts to public funding in poor and largely-minority areas. Or the departure of good-paying jobs from urban areas. Your post is idealistic nonsense that doesn't match reality.

Don Johnson - You can't shoot someone for running away or because the cop could have lost his balance. That's a fucking weak excuse. Tensing only lost his balance because of the recoil of his shot and because the dumbass put his arm in the window when DuBose tried to run off. Tensing has only himself to blame. Had he not done that he wouldn't have lost his balance. Still not an excuse for an execution. He should have let go, wrote down the license plate and called for backup. DuBose would have been apprehended 5 mins later. The cops aren't even defending him, that should tell you something. The cops said he was not dragged and he lied in his report. If he did nothing wrong why the fuck did he lie? The video shows he wasn't dragged.

Thomas - The police department said he wasn't dragged and that the officer lied. Stop bullshitting.

Tom Ryan - Well, I'll credit you that you haven't called me "anti-white". You're right. As for your "evidence" all it would show is that blacks are more likely to be arrested. Arrest Rate is not Offense Rate. Blacks and whites use the same amount of marijuana, yet cops arrest blacks 4-8x more often for marijuana anyway. Everything I said in my post is backed by government reports as well.

Tom Ryan - You mean like your "facts" you backed up with a damned Topix thread? Anyways, I already posted a link to the SYG stats. Which of my claims exactly do you want me to post a link for? "Enough of the victim mentality" You're the one here pretending to be the "true victim" of racism. You're claiming the mean old minorities are victimizing poor white bigots (or people in denial) like yourself. "It's people like you that make minorities feel like they are victims of the system" Nope, it's people like Officer Tensing that make minorities feel like that.

19Mustang71 - You can't shoot people for running away. If someone runs away you let them get away for 5 mins while you call in the license plate and call for backup. Just like you would anyone else who speeds off. This isn't North Korea where you can execute people for minor violations.
2
tnabes - You can't shoot someone for running. That's the problem. Even the cops aren't defending this prick.

19Mustang71 - Nice tinfoil hat. Tensing thought he was above the law (you can't shoot people for simply running away) and now he's going to jail for it.
2
Tom Ryan - Everything I and Howtizer said is a fact, bud. Yet you'll probably call me "anti-white" for stating the facts. You repeated myths and half-truths.

FMX646 - You have to prove the person in question is a violent felon who poses a public risk. Tensing had no such probable cause. Hence why the cops aren't protecting him.

Tom Ryan - As for marijuana, it's a far more prevalent arrest than violent crime. Most arrested persons in the US are not violent criminals. Only 15% of inmates are accused of a violent crime. So, yes, marijuana really. People being busted for drugs is a bigger issue than violent crime.

Mark Wilson - The police department said he wasn't dragged and that the officer lied. Why must you lie to defend Tensing?
