  1. @Engineer - There are tons of gnostic atheists who make statements like "God does not exist" or "Heaven/Hell doesn't exist". Those are statements claiming to know for a fact. Atheists are guilty of this just like theists.

  3. @Randy Moo - Cornel West is a deacon at his church and engages in Christian theologian debates. I'm pretty sure he's religious/Christian. He's a Christian Marxist. As a Leftist there's not really an incentive for him to fake and pretend to be a Christian because there's not really any bias against openly non-religious or atheist people in Leftist circles and politics. He's actually more likely to get grief from some people in the Leftist sphere for being an open Christian since there are Leftist elements that are antitheists and stridently anti-religion. It would be a detrimental con for him to engage in if anything.
