  1. If Bernie decides to run as an Independent prepare for 8 years of Trump. Most Media coverage of him will cease, he'll lose his state voter mobilization apertures and he likely won't be on the Presidential debate stage. Independents aren't on the ballot in all 50 states in the General Election (which would doom Bernie in the Electoral College) and Bernie couldn't win 3rd Party unless you convince at least 70% of registered Democrats to vote 3rd Party. No way in Hell will most Democrats, especially Democratic voters over 40, vote 3rd Party in 2020 while a Democrat is in the race and the possibility of Trump getting re-elected is there. Unfortunately, the majority of Democrats don't share your level of hostility to the Party. The only way Bernie, Tulsi or Nina would become President is running as a Democrat and forcing the Neoliberal wing aside. Which is why neither will leave the Party. Most Democrats aren't going to vote 3rd Party over the next 4 years. That's why the Tea Party ran as Republicans rather than 3rd Party, as angry as most Republicans were in 2009 most weren't angry enough to flat-out go 3rd Party.
