  7. The division existed for years before the Justice Democrats. The Democrats consist of 2 separate ideologies who are forced to share a Party: Progressives and Centrists. The Party Establishment is trying to drift further rightward and the most stalwart supporters tolerate this while most of the Base is drifting leftward and the Party leadership is resisisting the direction of their own Base and Democratic-leaning voters. This is causing the tension and division.

  8. It's an interesting debate, but Mythicists should realize they're an extreme minority position even among nonreligious and atheist scholars. Mythicism (the belief that Jesus is 100% made up) is viewed among Historians the same way Climatologists view Climate Change Denial and the same way Biologists view Evolution Denial. I think Mythicism is ideologically motivated (by fear that Jesus existing AT ALL could lend credence to Theism or hurt the case for Atheism) because there is technically more evidence for the Historical Jesus than there is for Caligula's existence. There are no contemporary documents abiy t Caligula until 80 years after he was assassinated. That'd be like historians just now writing about WWII after all these years. The earliest documents about Jesus are 20-40 years after his execution. If you'll be a Mythicist about Jesus, why not be one about Cleopatra and Caligula as well? No evidence that he performed miracles, but I think the Mythicist position is weak and it's an extreme minority position among scholars for that very reason. It's weak and the logic behind it could be applied to many ancient and medieval persons almost universally accepted as real (whether or not everything they purportedly did is true). I don't think there's some vast Christian conspiracy among Historians to suppress the truth and the nonreligious and atheist scholars are all secret Christians who are in on the scam.

After she left and started running she reminded people why they rejected her in the 2008 Democratic Primary to begin with, and added new scandals with her Clinton Foundation dealings and more controversial details of her foreign policy as SoS became public.

In fact, the Soviets, Red Chinese and North Koreans (even though North Korea is really an Absolute Monarchy with Stalinist trappings, not a real Socialist society) actually hated Gays and Transgendered people and frowned upon cohabitation without marriage. They also outlawed Prostitution and didn't like the Arts and hated Hippies. They didn't like multiculturalism either even though they were anti-racist (in rhetoric) and tolerated a multiracial society. They usually forced everyone to be the sane culture as the dominant ethnicity in the country. Like Soviet Russification. Authoritarian Marxism is actually socially pretty Conservative, very little to do with SJWs.

There are other forms like cooperatives, worker-owned companies, communes, a gift economy, P2P, Parecon, etc. Council Communism proposes stockpiling all production and working people take what they need, for instance.

That's what we're rapidly heading into. 3) Anyways, you keep defining a Socialist government as a Stalinist or Maoist government. Your criticism doesn't really apply to other forms of Socialism. You're doing the equivalent of someone arguing against all of Capitalism by making anti-Keynesian arguments or anti-Austrian economics arguments. That's your fatal flaw. You're critiquing one form of Socialism and trying to inappropriately extrapolate it to argue against all forms of Socialism.

Some kids bully simply because they find another kid "annoying" or unseemly because that kid is different from them (or their image of how a person should be) or simply so the bully can climb the social ladder by putting someone else down. I know from first-hand experience. Just ask any kid who has been bullied. Some kids are just shitty people, not all kids hurt people out of pain. People don't just start being shitty people at age 18 or 14, some people are shitty from a very young age. Maybe you didn't mean that, but your post implies you think children are all naturally good or decent people.

Most of what Zimmerman said is either contradicted by evidence (none of TM's blood is on GZ, none of GZ's blood or DNA is on TM's hands or fingernails, none of TM's prints or DNA is on the gun, all doctors listed GZ's injuries as insignificant, TM's hoodie drawstring facing GZ's free hand is yanked fully taut, etc.) and GZ's own accounts have changed radically over time. It's also kinda silly because we don't complain about people having significant strength differences when they're the same gender and compete. Mythicism is rejected by the Historian community for the same reason the Climatology community rejects Climate Change Denial: they both don't stand up well to critical analysis. Be an atheist if you want, but don't hinge your atheism on denying a near-universally accepted person. You shouldn't need for Jesus not to exist in order for atheism to be true.

But that's neither here nor there because most murders are not reported in the media. Black-on-white murders rarely become huge national stories because black offenders with white victims almost never get away. There are plenty of stories of non-black offenders getting away with killing black victims.
