  2. The division existed for years before the Justice Democrats. The Democrats consist of 2 separate ideologies who are forced to share a Party: Progressives and Centrists. The Party Establishment is trying to drift further rightward and the most stalwart supporters tolerate this while most of the Base is drifting leftward and the Party leadership is resisisting the direction of their own Base and Democratic-leaning voters. This is causing the tension and division.
