I was a rough & ready 'tomboy' as a kid - always identified with boys and hung out with them as a kid.
Girls seemed so superficial and frivolous to me, and I disliked all the pink, girly, frilly clothes and 'doll' playing crap.
Then, I can still recall the day when I looked at boys in a very different way! They were no longer just pals to me! This was around the age of 13, and everything changed for me.
My childhood was my 'boyhood', but once my hormones kicked in and my boy pals also began looking at me as more than just a 'pal' - my 'girlhood began -
- in earnest - and I never looked back.
So happy I lived in a time before this insane SM gender-questioning Era. Though, I was always happy with who I was even as tomboy - I still identified as female - never really wished to change into a male....that idea would have been so foreign to me.
I just wished that (most) girls weren't so ridiculously, helpless, frilly, & doll loving - I would have felt alot more normal around them, lol.
