  2. Europe made a huge mistake handing over their foreign policy decisions to NATO which is basically an extension of the U.S. military. They are now beholden to their "friends" as opposed to Russia. "Friends" who are now going to rake in profits through expensive sales of gas and weapons. As Kissinger once said, "America has no friends, only interests." Europe is sacrificing itself for its American master.
