I think most people are not happy with their current city, significant other, profession, job and so on...Most people on this planet are simply not happy..Everybody's trying to find their sweet spot but can't find it.

I'm originally from the Boston area, lived in Tampa, lived in Nashville, now Atlanta and people in each of these cities complained. It's no perfect major city, it's impossible.

Somehow I get depressed when I go to rural areas or small towns. At first it's peaceful but after an hour or two I'm bored out of my mind.

Raliegh needs to concentrate on over-taking Charlotte first and also Raliegh is not by the ocean.

I remember when I was a kid I thought the state of New Mexico was another country and Americans couldn't live there. I still remember the day my mother told me that it was a regular state like the other ones.

I thought he was going to name a bunch of well known dying cities like Detroit, Memphis, Baltimore, Clelveland, Buffalo, Milwaukee, New Orleans and of course Seattle even though it's not a dying city.

He forgot to mention the south is the birthplace to all genres of American music including HipHop.

@CarlJohnson-uk4fe It kind of is for that fact it's on your mind while you're writing this.

The US is slowly starting to look like a 3rd world country. In my city rush hour looks like rush hour from 2015 with the huge amount of old and faded vehicles commuting.

@jaaifromatl4907 People go by metro areas when judging cities and Atlanta has the 9th biggest. Nobody rides around looking for those imaginary invisible city limit lines.

I heard when you're in the woods to always keep your eye open because you can easily find yourself walking into another century.

@donniebrown2896 Boston and Miami is the same way

The title should say everyone is moving to Tennessee but not the Memphis area... Memphis and the rest of Tennessee are two different worlds.

People in the south can get real dirty especially if you get on their bad side which is why the south has the nickname " the dirty south "...Southern folks will smile in your face, stab you in the back quick and then smile in your face again.

@n.g.r.8911 Every downtown is doing that. When you literally look at downtown Milwaukee it basically looks the exact same way it did 30 years ago. Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, Raliegh, Philly and Miami literally looks different from itself 20 years ago.

This kind of explains why Memphis looks so much more terrible than the rest of Tennessee because it's sitting basically in Mississippi.

Personally I prefer major cities or places surrounding them. I don't want anything smaller than Nashville or Charlotte. I refuse to live somewhere that you will see the exact same people everywhere...

When people find out Pittsburgh has a lack of diversity and has no crime people might decide to move there. It's so many people who prefer cities but had to leave them because of crime.
1
Because smaller cities are boring. I think people prefer the small city right outside the major city if anything.

Savannah, Charleston and New Orleans all have the same look and vibe..

Imagine living in a major city and complaining about traffic, too many people and the lack of greenspace.

@lukelogan8539 That's bascally Charlotte tho...

@savagesick6644 In my opinion Detroit has a dead feelimg like everyone has gone. If you live in a city and the downtwon area literally looks the exact same way it did 30 years ago you're city is dying. It's places around downtown Detroit that will find yourself being the only person there.
1
@trinab9587 Detroit basically has the exact same skyscrapers it had 30 years ago. I think ya'll ganined about one..
